I just brought EMG pickups from ebay to go with my sweet ESP Explorer.
It got me thinking. Why does stuff on ebay cost less than store bought stuff?
I hought long and had, but my inferior brain power came up with no answers (other than everyone that uses ebay is poverty stricken, so they think that $10 for a computer is a good deal).
What do all 4 of my shit-bored-still-living-with-their-parents-even-though-they-are-in-their-forties readers think?
I want to know. (not really, it's all talk).

I bought some noiseless pickups for my strat a few weeks ago from the states - same deal - shit load cheaper.
A lot of those stores, particularly from America have less overheads, because they operate from a factory rather than a shop front, I suppose the stuff in Australia may be subject to import duty and taxes, but when you buy overseas they just charge your credit card, and send it - I've never had to pay any import duty.
Also, maybe with large turnover of items, they can maybe sell each item at a lower profit margin.
Maybe they are stolen goods, which apparently have a very good profit margin!!!
